More tickets on sale

Tickets have also gone on sale for Bestwood Male Voice Choir’s Diamond Jubilee concert, in which BeVox are appearing as special guests – and we’ve got something special planned for our entrance, too! To get your tickets to this incredible concert at Nottingham’s Albert Hall, call 01623 484 091. We’re really looking forward to performing alongside Bestwood MVC – it will really be an evening to remember.

Tickets on sale

We’re using an online ticketing system to sell tickets for any of our performances that are ticketed. Most performances we do aren’t ticketed, as they’re out in the community and so are free, but for more formal concerts, such as “Voices at the Cathedral” on 13th July, or “BeVox at Buxton with Brass” on 8th December, we’ll be selling tickets. The link you need is bevox.eventbrite.com, and there you’ll find details of all concerts we’re currently planning that require tickets. PLEASE NOTE – this doesn’t include events that we’re not producing ourselves, as tickets for these will be sold by the event organisers – we’ll include information about how to buy tickets for these kind of events on the Performances page.

For “Voices at the Cathedral”, you can also buy tickets in person at the Cathedral itself – just call in to their office and they’ll be happy to help!

One last thing – a quick reminder to the Nottingham group – we’re at West Bridgford Methodist Church tonight, not the school. See you there!

Performance information

We had a great time singing at the Spire Choir festival in Chesterfield yesterday – despite wet weather forcing us indoors for the second two performances. It was great to hear the streets of Chesterfield resounding with choirs of all kinds, and we heard some great performances when we weren’t singing ourselves. So many people stopped to listen, which was great – and so many wanted us to start a branch of BeVox in Chesterfield! We’d love to oblige of course, but at the moment are somewhat restricted by the number of days there are in a week…

Tickets have gone on sale for our concert at Sheffield Cathedral. At the moment, they’re only available online – we’re looking at other options and will keep you posted on this if they become possible. You can get them from this link.

We’re looking forward to our next public outing, singing at the Hemlock Happening on 2nd June. Maybe the weather will be kinder to us…

Excitement

Lots of great things falling into place at the moment. The song list for the Summer Season has been posted (click here), and I’m already halfway through writing the arrangements. It’s going to be really exciting! But I mustn’t get too carried away with thinking about next season just yet, as there are still lots of things to be excited about for this season.

We’ve just finalised the details of another community concert, which is quite personal to me – we’re going to be singing at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, bringing the joy of singing to a group of people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access it. It’s this kind of opportunity that makes me so glad to be a part of BeVox – it’s not just about the singing, it’s about sharing it with others and bringing happiness into people’s lives.

Plans for our secret surprise events are coming together nicely – for those people not involved, you’ll hear all about these as soon as we’ve done them. I’m really looking forward to the challenges these events present, as well as the great opportunities – not just for us as singers, but for us as a company too.

Tickets are now available for our Season Finales for this season – click on the “Come and listen” link on the right to find out more. We’re looking forward to sharing our music with you!
