We had a great first rehearsal of the additional material for the Buxton concert this weekend. It was fantastic to hear some of this music being brought back to life – we have songs from our very first season back in September 2010, all the way through to material from more recent seasons – and this is on top of the 11 songs we’re singing in all our other Autumn season performances too. We also have a top-quality line-up of soloists for Buxton, giving a real variety of entertainment. The draft running order has been drawn up, and I’m unbelievably excited about putting this show together.

Ticket sales are starting to pick up – encourage your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours to get them soon!

Dress code finalised

After an extensive consultation, I’m pleased to announce the new BeVox dress code. You can find all the details on our Rules page, here. Thank you to everyone who contributed their opinions.

All our performances this season will use the formal dress code, and as this is broadly similar to our previous dress code, we’ll be introducing it straight away. All performances from now on will use the new look. We can’t wait to see everyone in it!

No Sheffield session 18th October

Due to unavailability of our usual venue, we won’t be running a session in Sheffield this week (18th October). We will add an extra session at the end of the season instead, so now the final standard session of the season will be on 6th December, with our end-of-season performance on 13th December. Please accept our sincere apologies for any problems this causes. Sheffield singers would be very welcome to join us in any of our other areas this week (Nottingham tonight, Barnsley on Wednesday). If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please get in touch via the Contact Us page.
